Step 1
Step 1 Image Turn smooth side up to square and cut belt (Tighten knob to secure belt properly).
Step 2
Step 2 Image Turn belt over (rough side to the outside edge) tighten arm down, take the carpenters knives and trim the rough side off 1 inch. Reminder: use the adjustable cutting edge on the side for a guide to trim and penetrate the belt for an even cut.
Step 3
Step 3 Image Set the belt smooth side to the front side of the bottom unit into the beltlacing tool #45, tighten the Jack, with the belt and the Jack set in place, you are ready to penetrate the pins into the belt. First you need a standard hammer or air gun Reminder: 30-40 psi only with air gun , continue the process by penetrating the pins by striking the holes at a skip mode... example: 1,3,5,7 etc. 2,4,6,8 etc. to secure pins evenly . Strike every hole one more time straight across.
Step 4
Step 4 Image Once you have driven the pins into the belt, release the Jack from the tool #45 and for 1 final procedure secure the pins by placing the belt on a hard flat surface and rebrade the pins for a secure fit.
Reminder
Just a reminder the Garner Beltlacing Co. Does not provide the use of a carpenters knife or cutting blades for the belt.
"I bought your Belt Lacer from you a few years ago while attending the Farm Show in Springfield, MO. I just wanted to let you know how really great your product is. It is so simple to use not to mention the time it saves on a trip to town to get tbe belts spliced whenever we break one or tear the lacing out of a belt. It also saves us time as well because we can just repair it and go on. It is very heavy duty and built sturdy so I feel it will last for years and years to come. I guess my only regret is that I didn't buy it earlier. Thanks for a wonderful product."
